MDES Company profile

MDES supplies HotColdFrozenData® modules for analysis of data and data flows within an organization. The MDES concepts are based on analyses carried out as well as practical experience.

MDES was established in 2001 by Frank Bertram who is also the company CEO. Prior to that, Frank Bertram was the founder and commercial director of Euronet; European distributor of management software products for Microsoft Server, Novell Netware and Banyan Vines. He was also commercial director of distributor Dupaco, supplier of data storage and management solutions. Before founding MDES Frank was Key account manager at EMC.

Frank Bertram was the first to position in the market various innovative storage and security solutions including the well known Enterprise Vault for email archiving, Liquid Machines for Digital Rights management, and Verdasys for Data Leakage Prevention.
