MDES launches new analysis modules
MDES launches two new HotColdFrozenData modules which companies can use to identify digital information and potential leakages of such information.
Research and consultancy company MDES has launched two new HotColdFrozenData modules for identifying digital information and potential leakage such information from a company. This knowledge can be used by ICT service suppliers and endusers to develop a strategy and to implement Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) solutions.
Value Use Profile
The two new HotColdFrozenData modules from MDES are called Value User Profile and Security Users Profile. The first profile identifies all relevant documents containing valuable information for the company such as documents containing intellectual property or financial data. This module scans both files and mail boxes.
Security Use Profile
The Security Use Profile provides essential information about the weak points in the ICT organization. This module also measures the mobility of data within an organization, giving insight into how and where data are transferred. It enables you to monitor whether, for example, data are copied to CD, copied to a USB flash drive, or mailed to external addresses.
Efficiency Use Profile
There are three MDES modules for analysis of digital information and storage. On the market for some time, the Efficiency Use Profile is used to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the storage of digital information.
